We have started another project, a really cool one in our opinion, at Ready Outdoors. It's called Hydroponics. Aquaponics (pronounced: /ˈækwəˈpɒnɨks/) is a sustainable food production system that combines a traditional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as fish, crayfish or prawns in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. We picked up our first base recently and will be working on putting it together for "show and tell". Wayne has also discovered a really great "greenhouse" for it. He will be making a dome shape "cap" that will act as a greenhouse for the system.
If anyone is familiar with this, we would love some input!
